I am Kal-El. A trans male, currently incarcerated at SCI-Cambridge Springs in northwestern Pennsylvania. I am a self taught artist and have created my own brand called Z-coded. For the last 5, of my 17 years of being incarcerated, I have been expressing with acrylic and water color paints. Turning emotions into a picture(s) is when I feel the most free. And feel the only freedom within my art, I silently ask: Do we feel the same?
